Remora Robotics has appointed Christoffer Apneseth as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Apneseth brings a long and relevant background in technology leadership and robotics. With his extensive experience as a developer, researcher, and leader, he brings over two decades of expertise to his new role. His expertise will play a crucial role in the development of Remora’s technology in the coming years.
I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to join Remora Robotics and contribute to the company’s mission to develop technology that will lead to new, innovative, and forward-looking solutions. Transforming a promising startup technology into a leading industrial solution is incredibly exciting. My goal is to build on an already strong team so that our R&D department can make significant improvements to fish health and the environment in the aquaculture industry.

Apneseth has experience in building up and industrializing products from previous roles. He will now begin to develop an even stronger R&D department within the organization.
We will focus on increasing the reliability and lifespan of the mechanical systems while also enhancing the level of automation. Last but not least, we will develop innovative and value-creating solutions for our customers, which will require significant investment in software and IT systems moving forward. Additionally, we will recruit the right people and facilitate effective collaboration between different disciplines, such as electronics, mechanics, and software.
