Power on a new revolution. Say Hello to Remora.

Understand aquatic life better with Remora.

The first fully autonomous submarine robot cleans and inspects fish farming pens while collecting data about the pen’s aquatic environment.

Prevents biofouling

Biofouling is a severe issue as it harms fish health and can cause equipment failure. Current antifouling solutions are costly, inefficient and harmful to the environment. Regular cleaning and monitoring of the fish pen improve biofouling management.

Improves fish welfare

A clean net increases the water flow in the pen resulting in higher oxygen content in the water, less pollution, dirt and other unwanted contents. Infection pressure is reduced, minimizing the need for treatment. The Remora robot contributes to lower fish mortality and improved fish welfare.

Simplifies operations

While Remora washes the cage during its daily trip, it also scans the entire net and collects essential data from all depths of the pen’s aquatic environment.

Its advanced sensors for monitoring the environment will analyze and provide detailed insight into the condition of the note trends over time, enabling preventative maintenance and optimized operations for the farmers.

«We look forward to a fruitful collaboration with Remora Robotics that can help turn our operations from high-pressure washing of our nets to a less energy-intensive solution that puts less strain on the nets and is good for fish health.»
